Permanent Roofline Lighting Around Scotia

The Towns We Work In
Our base is Scotia, and most of our days are spent a short drive away in Schenectady, Rotterdam, Glenville and East Glenville. We also install regularly in Niskayuna, Guilderland and Country Knolls, and we travel north to Clifton Park, Ballston and Charlton.
The process is the same wherever you live. We come out, measure the roofline, check what the fascia and gutters are made of, and walk you through the material options before anything is ordered. You get a clear quote with no surprises on install day. If your town is not listed, ask when you call. We may well cover it.
What Shapes an Install Around Here
- 01
Housing age and trim
Homes across the area range from older colonials and capes with wood fascia to newer builds wrapped in aluminum or vinyl. Wood trim usually takes screws well once we confirm it is sound. Aluminum wrap is thinner, so we fasten into the board behind it and seal each penetration to keep water out.
- 02
Winter weather
Cold snaps, heavy snow and repeated freeze-thaw cycles are normal here. We use LED nodes and wiring rated for low temperatures and mount the track where ice sliding off the roof is less likely to strike it. A slim aluminum channel also sheds snow better than loose clips and bare strands.
- 03
Color and finish
Most rooflines in the area are white, brown, black or a muted gray. We match the track color to your trim so the system nearly disappears in daylight, which keeps the curb appeal you already have while the lights are off.
- 04
Power and permits
Permanent lighting runs on low voltage from a power supply plugged into an exterior outlet. If a new outdoor outlet is needed, that work and any permit fall under your town's rules, which vary across the area. We tell you up front what your home needs and check local requirements before we schedule.
- 05
HOA guidelines
Some newer subdivisions have rules about exterior fixtures or lighting colors. If yours does, we can share track samples and photos of the finish so you have what you need for approval.

Ask About Your Address
Tell us where you live and a little about your roofline. We will set a time to see it in person and talk through the materials that fit your home.
